At ACT UP Entertainment, we believe everyone deserves to feel safe, respected and welcome at our events.
Whether you're attending a live show, DJ event, themed party or community event, we're committed to creating an environment where people can enjoy themselves free from harassment, intimidation, discrimination, unwanted sexual behaviour and violence.
Respect, consent and looking after one another are part of the culture we want to create at every ACT UP Entertainment event.

Behaviour We Don't Accept
Unacceptable behaviour includes, but is not limited to:

Unwanted sexual comments or advances.

Unwanted touching or physical contact.

Harassment, intimidation or bullying.

Discrimination of any kind.

Threatening, abusive or aggressive behaviour.

Tampering with another person's drink or deliberately putting another person's safety at risk.

Any behaviour that makes others feel unsafe, uncomfortable or unwelcome.
If You Need Support
Every venue we work with has its own trained staff and procedures for responding to incidents and supporting patrons.
If you experience or witness behaviour that makes you feel unsafe or uncomfortable, or believe your drink may have been tampered with, please speak to the venue's Duty Manager, security or a member of the venue staff as soon as possible. If an ACT UP Entertainment team member is available, you're also welcome to speak with us and we'll help connect you with the appropriate venue staff.
You do not need to wait until something becomes serious. If something doesn't feel right, we encourage you to let someone know.
